Amy, Wow! You truly have been an industrious woman. How wonderful to see you doing what seems to come very naturally to you. I wish you much joy and success as you continue with your journey.

I saw your name on a friend's fan page (on Facebook). I worked with you and Bob at Triton many years ago. What a treat to hear your voice and to see where life has taken you. Congratulations to you and Bob on your success!

This is the craziest thing! I saw you in the interpreting community when I was a student at Columbia College years ago, am now an interpreter who loves folk music, and find that you are not only a name I've known in the interpreting community but also a folk singer? Every year, the world gets smaller:) That's fantastic.

Hi Amy. Sorry I've never come around to check out your site until now. But I figure you know how busy musicians can be. Congrats on doing so well with your music, though I knew you would. :) Love, Christopher.

What a lovely, moving song "Rosa sat" is. My husband sent it to all of us in the family. I am going to try to figure out the guitar chords so that I can teach it to the Girl Scouts at my day camp this summer. Thank you for giving us the lyrics on your web page. If you're willing to send me the chords I'd love it! What a great song to teach these girls!!

Such talent! "Rosa Sat" is stunning in it's simplicity but so filled with hope and love. Good job.

Is there any way to get a download of the video? I've downloaded the song, but would love to have the video to show to my kindergarteners.

Your song, Rosa sat.....was posted on facebook by a friend. I couldn't get it in an email to send to hundreds of friends soon enough. I wanted everyone to hear it and feel the same joy I felt. That quick, I am a fan of yours for life. When will this song be on a CD? I'm going to buy your CD on your site in a minute. Come to Jersey and perform for us....soon! Why not go on Oprah's show? Michele and Barack must love you, too. What a gift you are to so many. THANK YOU!

Thank you for Rosa Sat - I put it on my Facebook page, as it so beautifully amplifies the euphoria many of us feel at this turning of the tide. I look forward to exploring more of your music.

Amy, I love your voice! And I love your "Rosa Sat" song. I really want to download it, but I am unable to because nothing happens when I press on the $.99 button in your website. Can you put Rosa Sat on iTunes? Thanks for your beautiful songs! Cheryl

Listening to "Rosa Sat" has been a holy moment for me. THANK you so much for this beautiful piece and a voice that sends chills up and down my spine. I just aired a commentary that's posted on mpr.org ("All Things Considered" Jan. 23) on MLK Day Celebration and the inauguration. Your music stops me in my tracks and lifts my soul. Thank you.

Wow, a friend sent the youtube for your "Rosa sat" and I am blown away. Fabulous. I'll pass it on.

WOW, I loved "Rosa Sat" and sent it to everyone I could think of. I also heard the phrasing before and your composition and voice just makes it so much more beautiful. The images are perfect with your lyrics and voice and it is all so moving. I can't get it out of my head and I keep watching it over and over. I was just at my local public library and I told the librarians to look at it -- they too were choked up. I'm sure you've sent it to Barak, right? I don't know if you saw the film that CNN broadcast, they had a famous director put B & W images of Martin under Barak's acceptance speech and then showed the DC mall turn from B & W (Martin's speech) into color and then showing Barak speaking. Amy, THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORK and celebrating a great moment in history. Good luck to you.

Amy, thank you for the beautiful "Rosa Sat." I've been so moved these past days that I get easily tearful. I'm not ashamed though. I do believe something extraordianry happened on the Mall the other day, and what a powerful catalyst for change. Peace and Love, sano

Ditto to billydac's comment. Is there any way of making sure the Obamas hear and see it?

billydac said:   January 21, 2009 8:00 pm PST
I was emailed the YouTube link to "Rosa Sat" yesterday after the inauguration. I didn't think I could get even more moved than watching that piece of history made, but this song gave me chills and still does-wish it could have been performed at one of the Inaugural Balls-it would have blown them all away.

Thank you for the beautiful song. It is so moving. I teach dance for 7 to 18 yr old children and young adults in Oakland, CA, at the Destiny Arts Center. www.destinyarts.org We do an end of the year performance in June and I'd like to use your song to choreograph a piece for the kids. How can I obtain a recording??
